Forced Love

The relationship between Ashima and Ashoke is overwhelmingly interesting considering that they are two people with no real connections living with each other in a foreign country.  Ashoke has the better end of this because he got to chose his woman and has been to America before, but Ashima is almost ripped from her day to day life with another man in another world.  Ashoke and Ashima portray that even though love isn't there initially, it can be found.  Their relationship has lasted through the beginning of their journey in America, and whether it lasts in the future is entirely up to their character.
